Example FORC Diagrams and Data

FORC measurements have been completed on a variety of materials, with the resulting number of FORC diagrams increasing rapidly. We initially had selected a few diagrams representing a widge range of systems and display them on this page. They are now available in as selected FORC diagrams. In order to document FORCs for a larger array of samples, we started a Web encyclopedia called FORCopedia in October 2006. FORCopedia is intended to be an encyclopedia or catalog of FORC measurements in which each entry will include the raw FORC data, hysteresis data, background information, one or more FORC diagrams, and other related plots when relevant.

Currently we are working on the format and provide only a few examples. We hope to provide a template that can then be easily used by other who are interested in providing their data along with example plots.
